DS-SFP-FC8G-SW-RF is a professionally remanufactured Cisco 8G Fibre Channel SFP+ Short Wavelength Transceiver, designed to provide high-speed optical connectivity for Fibre Channel SAN infrastructure. It plugs into SFP+-compatible Fibre Channel switches and host bus adapters operating in data center storage networking environments.

This remanufactured transceiver meets Cisco performance specifications and has been thoroughly inspected and tested prior to shipment. Validation includes optical transmit and receive power levels, link initialization and negotiation at 8G Fibre Channel speeds, and compatibility with Cisco MDS 9000 Series and Nexus platforms.
