The Cisco X2-10GB-SR-RF is a professionally remanufactured 10GBASE-SR X2 transceiver module designed for high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber. This hot-pluggable transceiver provides 10 Gbps throughput over multimode fiber (MMF) using duplex LC connectors, supporting distances up to 300 meters on OM3 fiber and 400 meters on OM4 fiber at 850nm wavelength. The short-reach (SR) specification makes it ideal for data center interconnects, server-to-switch connectivity, switch uplinks, and campus backbone applications where high bandwidth is required over relatively short distances. The X2 form factor was widely deployed before SFP+ became standard.

This remanufactured transceiver has been thoroughly tested and certified to meet Cisco's quality standards. Each unit undergoes comprehensive testing including optical power measurement, bit error rate (BER) testing, temperature cycling, extinction ratio validation, and interoperability testing with Cisco platforms. The module supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time visibility into temperature, voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, and receive power. Compatible with Cisco Catalyst switches, routers, and other devices with X2 slots. Low power consumption and standards-compliant operation ensure reliable performance.
